As kids we think about becoming a princess or defending the land As we get older the dream starts to fade We dream about jobs and houses How much money we are to make Your child loses its passion and doesn’t work as hard Because the dream they once had just drifted apart But now their grown working late, you see their barely eating because there’s no money for food on their plate, they get paler and it’s hard to watch what happened to the kid that had it all, their big dreams on colorful pictures that lines the fridge and the walls, you see their not thriving but surviving but that’s a must because that kid you once raised is now long gone.
